Hi, my Lucas seems to have the same problem, our vet recomend us to change the food to lucas, we started feed him whit eukanuba, and we change for Pro plan Sensityve skin by Purina, and in one week the dog is perfectly health, the skin is perfect (ONE WEEK) tried this and tell me about. Is dont want this brand try with one who include lamb and rice or salmon and rice.
And try this tips:
Never put your food in other recipient diferent at an original pack.
And never buy big bags or food, is better the litle one, manteins always fresh.
And no more than 1 bath for month.

I know this is a old thread, but I also have struggled with a Frenchie with skin issues and know they can take a while to resolve. Posting more information would be helpful. I know lots of Frenchies with skin issues that have been managed through diet change. Frenchies are prone to allergies and in my experience benefit from a high quality diet with a limited number of ingredients. My own Belzie does horrible on commercial kibble because of her allergies, but a good resource for commercial kibble and canned food is http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/

I was wondering if your vet cultured a swab to rule out mange or another type of skin infection, and what medication he prescribed for her? Without knowing what his diagnosis was it is hard to give you a good recommendation of a natural remedy or different things you can try to alleviate your dogs condition.
