My name is Aphasia. I almost 5 1/2 years old. I used to excel at sprinting and squirrel chasing until my back gave out. I had major back surgery in August of '07 and went to Rehab for a bit. I enjoyed swimming (well not really), boogie boarding in the pool, and walking/running on the treadmill as part of my at home therapy. I had just started to get the hang of kayaking with mom when my back legs started to give out. I got locked down in the cage again for a few months and had many tests but so far I am a mystery. I had made it almost 4 months without a bout of of "jelly legs". Now I am plaqued with this problem when I poop. I was about to have another MRI when mom found out that I have positive titers to Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Anaplasma and Lyme. For now we are trying some antibiotics in hope that I be normal again. But who knows - I'm a frenchie - I like to keep people guessing.

Mom likes to post lots of video montages of me, but they look crappy from youtube so try watching them here - I'm in more High Def :)

Dookie

I pooped in the pool today! My mom screamed "Dookie" and threw me and my turds out of the pool. The pool is closed for awhile - yess!!!!!

Home Schooling

I went swimming tonight. It was my first time since December. I shot my mom the evil frenchie look of death, but she still held me in place like she was holding a piece of luggage! I tried to pretend I was going to poop in the pool - but she saw right through me. Those bubbles didn't fool her!. Note to self - if mom puts you in a life vest - don't poop on the way to the pool.
